There are many days when I miss being in The Brick City, today was one of those days. Democracy and the right to gather was in full force today. Our youth who will be future leaders have shown today that they can rally in support of some issues they believe in. Now I know that not all of the youth who attended today's events came initially to support the cause, but I hope they knew the facts before they left to go home. Our first earth day event : Lets Celebrate Mother Earth was a chance to celebrate and learn something you didnt know before about being a vegetarian. Decide to come to lecture series, potlucks, events at natural restaurants, book stores and discounts at local businesses. 'Greens and Beans by any means' is the motto we believe.
